Running A Business From home
One
of the great ways to earn a living on-line and run a successful home based business is to write and sell your
own product.
This information can be sold as a report, e-book, or
e-course. The main advantages are that you:
- own the product and can sell it freely
- can sell resell rights to your product so others can sell it
- create a joint venture partnership and get together with other businesses online
- make money from setting up an affiliate program and getting affiliates out there selling your product
We
are in a digital age where access to information that will make our
life easier, educate us, meet our needs in someway, show us "how to" or
even develop and enlighten us through self-help continues to grow in
demand across the whole world.
The
demand for software, e-books, reports, newsletters, ezines (electronic
magazines) and similar digital products that can be downloaded
instantly when we want them, rather than having to wait for them to be mailed to us has become a more viable and attractive option.
Despite
the number of people already selling digital products the market is
huge, with more and more people connecting on-line all the time.
The best of all is that your business can be run from home, with just a computer and some inspiration!
Staying Motivated
You
know what it’s like. You start off excited and ready to take on the
world, and then a few months later you can’t even be bothered to turn
your computer on. Well welcome to being human!
When
we lose sight of why we started something it is easy to put it to one
side. Setting yourself a goal, or an achievement target and working
towards that target will keep you motivated.
If you read my entry on planning for the future you will know that I mentioned deciding why you want to earn a living online. Well
this is why! Right now, if your why was compelling and exciting, it
will support you in continuing when you want to give up.
Also,
in that article, if you completed the exercise on creating your vision
in your minds eye, and you are not feeling particularly motivated, then
recall it right now.
Bring your vision back to you and see what you saw, hear what you heard, and feel all the feelings you created. Regain your motivation to continue using the power of your mind.
More
importantly though is to know exactly why you want to achieve what you
want to achieve. Ask yourself the following questions:
· What will it bring me?
· What will it do for me, my family, and/or friends?
· What kind of lifestyle will I be able to have?
· What sacrifices will I need to make?
· What will be the impact on my current routine?
· What will be the impact on my family?
· What outcome do I want to achieve?
Motivation
and staying motivated is easy when you know why you are doing something
and we only really lose motivation when we lose sight of our goal or
end result.
Keep
the fires burning by creating a collage with the family of what your
business will look like, or paint a picture, right a poem, sing a song,
or do it the old fashioned way and just make a list! Do whatever works
for you, but you must know what works for your first.
What you want is not a business that becomes a burden and feels like something else to do because you said. What you want is a business that calls you forth each day into a future of possibilities and inspires you to keep going.
Get Support & keep learning
Support from family and friends is important but also consider what other support is available to you.
Books, mentoring, coaching, forums – these are all things that can support you as you develop your business online.
Also
think about who can support you in achieving your goals, will you need
to bring in extra help, or if you are on a tight budget, will you have
to spend time learning new skills before you can get going?
Make Mentor or Life Coach, someone who has been there and done that.
a list of what you can and can’t do and who might be able to help you.
Knowing this in advance can help you avoid getting frustrated because
things aren’t getting done. If you are serious about developing your

For me, my biggest support was having a mentor who is experienced in the field of making money online. The
information and advice I acquired from him was priceless and will
support me in ensuring I become a successful online entrepreneur.
There
are many on-line internet coaching programs available and I will be
listing a few of in this blog so look out for them! Read all you can
about those that have been successful in the industry. Use what others
have done to go that bit further that bit faster.

What a surprise!
I just looked at my last posting before today and it was mid-August! Where does the time go. I don’t think I have ever been away that long before.
