A new network

I love the ning platform at www.ning.com it’s great for starting your own social network. I already run one for women who run an online business but decided to create on for people from Dominica.

I feel as if I need to start connecting with people from there because my parents left there to come to the UK and I really don’t know much about it. So the network is at http://www.dominican-diaspora.com

I bought a domain already and upgraded the account because I like to do that. Takes away all the Ning advertising!

Do you want to know what I do?

It’s been a couple of days and I realised that  I haven’t even told you anything about myself… I mean how rude is that… oh… btw fyi realised is spelt correctly… I’m British!

So there’s your first fact. I live in the UK in the wonderful capital city of London. I love London. It’s so alive and full of things to do, which is exactly why I spend most of my time at home doing sod all!

I mean with all those amenities at my disposable what more is there to do but ignore them. At some point I may drag myself away from my laptop and actually take advantage of it.

But for now it can wait. It’s cold outside and not conducive to travel… at least not in my book

I can’t tell you too much in one post it would spoil the mystery and let’s face it I have over 500 posts still to write so I gotta leave myself with something!

Another valentines Day Over

Valentines day came and went and not a man in site! I hope your day was more productive than mine. I told the kids that I am getting married in 2008 - once I find a man! So I guess I better get on with it then.

Always thought of valentines day as a bit of a waste of time anyway, over priced consumerism from wealthy retailers looking to make a fast buck off poor people who never bother to treat their wives to anything nice at any other time of the year…. bitter… moi… as if!
