The need to sit close to me
July 14, 2008 by DianeCorriette · Leave a Comment
This event was back in 2005 and I remember being in an office that belonged to a small community group in West London.
The Finance Officer would regularly tell me that he liked being near me, and sitting close to me. One day he walked in to where I was working and asked if he could sit close by. He had no idea why he wanted to he just told me in that moment he wanted to be close to me.
He didn’t touch me and never did but he often came over to sit close by when I was in the office (which was kinda creepy for me…. but doing my good girl routine I said nothing!)
Two elderly women on the London Underground

I was on a train with a friend. There were two elderly English women on the train – both looking at me – eventually one of them speaks up and says “my sister and I think you look amazing” (the word amazing…. it could have been beautiful – but it was words to that effect!)
Jenna Elfman Definitely Attracts Without Trying!

If there is one woman that has natural, beautiful radiance it’s Jenna Elfman – I have just finished watching her in the film Keeping The Faith (on the BBC thank goodness so no adverts!) and it just struck me how much she glows and what a wonder natural attraction she has.
Yes she is beautiful but there are beautiful women on the catwalk who earn thousands a day just to be in a show and they still don’t glow in this way. This is not about being a beauty – natural attraction is so much more than that and as soon as you begin to recognize it you will step away from wanting to look a certain way because you will know that that’s not it!
Myer Briggs ISFJ

I took a free Myer Briggs test and discovered I am an ISFJ
Introverted [44%]
Sensing [25%]
Feeling [75%]
Judging [11%]
One of the words that people often say about me when they don’t know me is “reserved” – which I never really understood because I must be the most NOT reserved person you ever met. But I am quiet. Only because I spend more time listening than I do talking!
About Attract Without Trying
July 13, 2008 by DianeCorriette · Leave a Comment
Hi my name is Diane Corriette and I am a mother of 3 children living in London, England.
For the past 7 years I have discovered the ability within myself to attract attention from both men and women – not always sexual – sometimes people just want to meet me, or they comment about my presence, my energy…. I get comments about all kinds of stuff!
This ability to attract people to me, I believe, comes from feeling comfortable in my own skin. It’s about knowing who you are and loving that!
For me it’s not about the law of attraction, the spiritual law that brings things to us, but more about personal attraction, charism, or whatever name you prefer to give it.
I was “Switched On” to this during a weekend workshop in January 2001 and have been using it without knowing for years.
You can read extracts of my book (which is a collection of journal entries) through this blog but the best of it will be sent to everyone who signs up here to receive it.
You have this personal power too. It’s within you whether you know it or not, maybe you just haven’t been SWITCHED ON to it…. yet!
My journal will go into print so watch out for it.
What Are You Being “Switched On” To? Name it what you will….
* Personal Power
* Greatness
* Presence
* Divine Energy
* Charisma
* Authentic Self
* Self Assurance
* Confidence
* Sensuality
* Sincere Affection
Walking the streets in Morocco
July 11, 2008 by DianeCorriette · Leave a Comment
I’ve taken a couple of trips to Morocco in 2006 and on both occassions I had a number of different experiences of people being attracted to me but the one that sticks out in my mind is this one…..
A woman in Morocco. I was walking along and she stopped me in the street and in a very, very LOUD voice told me how beautiful she thought I was.
She began asking me about my family history and where I had come from and she stood staring at me – which of course made my “don’t look at me issues” raise it’s head!

Diane, I have to tell you the ebook was outstanding…sincerely…. You did an excellent job! You get even more points from me as a WAY COOL MARKETING CHICK!
Bravo on “Teleseminar Riches”! You have done an amazing job in creating the ultimate resource for anyone in the teleseminar arena. Youve included something of value for everyone from the absolute newbie to even the seasoned teleseminar veterans. I must say that I had not expected this much information to be jam packed into this little ebook at such a low price. If you doubled the price it would still be worth it. Teleseminar Riches will save your reader a huge chuck of time that they would otherwise need to invest in order to gain this much knowledge on every aspect of teleseminars. The readers of this ebook will come away with a thorough understanding of how to properly plan and execute a good seminar and how to market it online to create an additional income stream.
Word to the wise – Teleseminar Riches is worth every penny! Again, great job, Diane!

3 white boys and a night bus!
July 2, 2008 by DianeCorriette · Leave a Comment
I went to Crawley today to speak at an event and on the way home waiting for the bus 3 guys approached me and one of them asked me for 0.50p
He told me this story about him being 17, out of care, no family, no money and no food so I gave him £2 and he went off to Sam’s Chicken and bought food. I was glad to see he didn’t spend it on alcohol!
They got back to the bus stop and I had to ask him… why did he ask me for money. A six foot black woman with dreadlocks…. how did he not know that I wouldn’t cuss him out.
I asked because I always get people asking me for money. I always get stopped by those people on the streets wanting to sign people up to donate to charity (even when 50 people walked past they stop me!) and in Morocco people walk past the group I was with and walked straight up to me to ask for money…. do I look like that much of a soft touch LOL (don’t answer that!)
He said I looked kind. All his friends said it at the same time. He thought I looked like a social worker – good God, what woman in her 40s wants to look like a social worker LOL
They were great young people and I hope this young man realises one day that his past doesn’t have to determine his future.
Diane
P.S. The title is a play on 3 weddings and a funeral…. just in case anyone is in need of an explanation!
