The Algerian Moroccan

“Why do you look so sad?” is the question he asked me.

“It’s a habit” was my immediate response, it shocked even me!

He laughed “That’s the first time I’ve ever had anyone give me that response” he said

From Harrow to Baker Street we sat on the train and talked.

An Alergian father and Moroccan mother he thought I was 35 (bless him!)

But 41 and 3 children made a difference :-)
Perhaps that’s how I should introduce myself “hi, my name’s Diane, I’m 41 and have 3 children”

It would save so much time.

If nothing else he placed the seed of curiosity inside of me. He is very proud of his Algerian roots and it made me take a look and even consider a visit myself!

An Exclusive Dinner at The Dorchester with Maya Angelou just click and check it out.

It’s great that its happening during Black History Month - not sure if that was timed or just a coincident!

I would love to be part of this network and will start praying real hard for the money to buy a ticket. To be in the presence of someone so amazing would be great. Plus of course you are helping to raise money and ensure that children in developing countries enjoy the pleasures that come from reading.

How Do You Start Your Day?

August 1, 2008 by DianeCorriette

By Dayo Olomu

How do you start you day? Do you just wake up in the morning, have your bath and go to work? If you answer yes to this question, may I say that in this day and age, that is not how to start an eventful day?

Everyday spend time thinking about your future, your life, your values and your choices. Decide where you are going and write it down. I do it early in the morning; some of my clients do it before bed. Find what works out best for you and use it.

I start my day with what I call the golden hour when I sharpen the mind by means of keeping myself physically, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually fit. It is about renewing yourself, which will in turn give you time to recreate yourself and boost your confidence. The first thing I do is to shape up spiritually by prayer, reading the Bible and reading a booklet called “Word for Today” which I have been reading for years. Then I move onto shaping myself physically by exercising. I do 50 press-ups every morning. After that I shape up intellectually by reading a chapter of the book I am reading at the moment or anything that will shape me intellectually. During this process I look at my things to do for today list and allocate the ABCD strategy. A is
Action Now, B is before the end of the day, C is Can wait till tomorrow and D is you delegate it or delete it

Fish, Smiles and Chocolate

In Saturdays Observer there was a great article on why smiles are better than prozac

Eminent scientist Jane Plant has written a new book called “Beating Stress, Anxiety and Depression” with co-autor Janet Stephenson.

They are suggesting that rather than take Prozac (which lets face it is un-natural medicine) you should focus on smiling (tricks your subconcious into believing everything is ok), chocolate with over 70% cocoa in it and of course oily omega 3 type fish like kippers.

Even changing your appearance, wearing clothes you love and putting on makeup is more powerful than popping the pills.

Natural activities like smiling, putting makeup on, laughing out loud, eating foods that nourish, spending time with friends that uplift you, wearing clothes that make you feel great are all part of building your “attraction ammo”

Diane Corriette, internet marketing, online business buildingJohnny Wimbrey always says “People don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care!”

So let me leave dazzling you with my credentials until the end and first focus on letting you know that if you have something you want for yourself and your life then I care whether you get it or not.

Thanks for taking the time to read this. My name is Diane Corriette and first and foremost I am a mother of 3 gorgeous children.

My vision is a future that includes retiring at age 45 in 2012 and enjoying the olympics plus travelling the world my children, my laptop and me!

Do you have a vision for yourself? How can I help you make IT a success?

How will I achieve my vision? By staying committed to my goals and taking consistent action. How will I support you in achieving your vision? By keeping you committed to your goals and taking consistent action. We are all human and it’s easy to let life get in the way. I have my mastermind group and my Success University team (and wonderful Sponsor Feza) to keep me committed and consistent. Who do you have?

I use different areas of the internet not just one to make money and a BIG part of my plan is to help 35-50 people achieve a 4-figure monthly income using Success University.

I live by Zig Ziglar’s motto that I can have everything I want in my life when I help other people achieve it in theirs.

What I love about Success University is the fact that it doesn’t take a lot to become successful. It’s about going wide not long - what does that mean? It’s about bringing people in and then helping those
people to build their business, not just leave them alone to try and figure it out.

That’s why I didn’t start business building with Success University immediately, because I knew if you joined me I would want to mentor and support you and that takes time. But the universe works in mysterious ways and in one week having 5 people sign up I suddenly decided that now was my time to start team building!

With network marketing it’s all about duplication. One of my team members British Hill told me “in essence you have duplicated yourself on MLMBlackWomen.com (her social network) by recruiting me”

And that’s what its all about. Find the leader and recruit them

I have some powerful leaders in my team and we are ready, willing and able to support you in building your Success University business.

Jump right in and join me http://expand.successuniversity.com/new

or learn more at http://www.expandingincome.co.uk/

“Remember it’s about going wide NOT long

so go forth and duplicate!”

Juno Started as a blog

July 28, 2008 by DianeCorriette

I was reading this week’s Sky magazine and it featured an article on the new film Juno by writer Diablo Cody.

It seems that Juno was written by a first time writer (Diablo) and she started it by writing in a blog. I am always encouraging people to blog to build their online platform and reputation and that’s exactly why. This is just one of many stories I have heard of people getting a book deal, signing a record deal or something just as spectacular as this.

She provided 5 top tips and her first one is “write from the heart” - she loved and was addicted to writing. Diablo called it her “confessional”

When you love something your passion shines through so it’s okay to write to make money online but if it’s on a topic that doesn’t excite you it can be hard work!

Plus I am sure when she started she didn’t bother with key word research and discovering if anyone was searching for her and how many people per day.

It’s just more evidence (if you even need it) that writing from your passion can win. Don’t let the experts frighten you into believing anythng else.

Diablo Cody picked up an Oscar for this script so if you are a script writing take heart and keep believing. It’s definitely possible :)
