Staying Motivated
You
know what it’s like. You start off excited and ready to take on the
world, and then a few months later you can’t even be bothered to turn
your computer on. Well welcome to being human!
When
we lose sight of why we started something it is easy to put it to one
side. Setting yourself a goal, or an achievement target and working
towards that target will keep you motivated.
If you read my entry on planning for the future you will know that I mentioned deciding why you want to earn a living online. Well
this is why! Right now, if your why was compelling and exciting, it
will support you in continuing when you want to give up.
Also,
in that article, if you completed the exercise on creating your vision
in your minds eye, and you are not feeling particularly motivated, then
recall it right now.
Bring your vision back to you and see what you saw, hear what you heard, and feel all the feelings you created. Regain your motivation to continue using the power of your mind.
More
importantly though is to know exactly why you want to achieve what you
want to achieve. Ask yourself the following questions:
· What will it bring me?
· What will it do for me, my family, and/or friends?
· What kind of lifestyle will I be able to have?
· What sacrifices will I need to make?
· What will be the impact on my current routine?
· What will be the impact on my family?
· What outcome do I want to achieve?
Motivation
and staying motivated is easy when you know why you are doing something
and we only really lose motivation when we lose sight of our goal or
end result.
Keep
the fires burning by creating a collage with the family of what your
business will look like, or paint a picture, right a poem, sing a song,
or do it the old fashioned way and just make a list! Do whatever works
for you, but you must know what works for your first.
What you want is not a business that becomes a burden and feels like something else to do because you said. What you want is a business that calls you forth each day into a future of possibilities and inspires you to keep going.
Get Support & keep learning
Support from family and friends is important but also consider what other support is available to you.
Books, mentoring, coaching, forums – these are all things that can support you as you develop your business online.
Also
think about who can support you in achieving your goals, will you need
to bring in extra help, or if you are on a tight budget, will you have
to spend time learning new skills before you can get going?
Make Mentor or Life Coach, someone who has been there and done that.
a list of what you can and can’t do and who might be able to help you.
Knowing this in advance can help you avoid getting frustrated because
things aren’t getting done. If you are serious about developing your
business on line then I recommend getting yourself a
For me, my biggest support was having a mentor who is experienced in the field of making money online. The
information and advice I acquired from him was priceless and will
support me in ensuring I become a successful online entrepreneur.
There
are many on-line internet coaching programs available and I will be
listing a few of in this blog so look out for them! Read all you can
about those that have been successful in the industry. Use what others
have done to go that bit further that bit faster.

I just looked at my last posting before today and it was mid-August! Where does the time go. I don’t think I have ever been away that long before.
The main reason, I have been busy putting together my online thoughts.

The missing puzzle
I have just found this excellent CD set that talks about an end to goal setting and "doing" and instead focusing on "being". There is a way to manifest everything we desire but alot of us have not managed to realise what the missing link is. What I really love about this series is the fact that the first thing you are taught to manifest is the money to pay for this course!!
I will be sharing more about this as time goes by and as things begin to show up without me doing much!

What’s your thing?
What are you mad about? What do you love to collect, or see, or photograph? For me it is articulated lorries. The big 10 ton ones! The bigger the better in fact. My favourite has always been Eddie Stobart and a member of my breakfast group arranged for them to pick me up and take me round for an hour! How great was that!
Then on the day of my race for life, right at the end as I lay on the grass recovering and everyone else had left! Up pulled this huge articulated lorry. Lovely!!! My friend Barrie who was with me shouted the driver and asked if I could go for a ride and he said yes and drove me round the park a bit. Heaven!
I think the thing I love the most is the thought of getting in one of these huge things and just driving. For me they represent being carefree and on the road! I will never forget last year, in the middle of Ealing High Road, a truck driver stopped and asked me if I wanted to go with him! I actually had to stop myself from running across the road and getting in
