Life is too short to not attempt it at least
‘What was that?’
‘That was your life, mate.’
‘Oh, that was quick. Do I get another?’
‘Sorry mate, that was it!’
Basil Fawlty (John Cleese)
Are you ready to fulfilled the unfulfilled? What’s the worse that could happen? What’s the best that could happen?
Even if you go for it and it doesn’t work out at least you can say you gave it a shot. The thing is if you go for it and keep the belief that you will succeed and keep working towards it until you do then there is no way it can fail anyway…. is there….????
All you really need to do to fulfill your dream is to :
- Create a plan for yourself that includes examining your strengths and weaknesses
- Begin to work towards removing whatever stops you (fear, doubt etc) – not BEFORE you begin but as you work towards your goal
- Take part in self reflection, development and learning on an ongoing basis to ensure you are always aware of where you are with your plan, what might stop you achieving it and the strengths you can fall back on (yours and through the support of others) to keep moving forward
See…. nothing difficult about that at all
About Diane Corriette
I write on this self development blog about building self confidence, and living a life of full self expression where you are free to be you. Being able to be confident is not so much about how you think but what you feel. To successfully build self confidence you must use your thoughts to create an image of who you want to be, and your emotions to help you feel this amazing new you and then visualise & focus on it until it becomes your reality.
