Reason, Season, Lifetime

I seem to be going through an ending phase in my life right now. Everything that is not meant to be is ending. i’m clinging onto one particular relationship though probably because I believe if I let go I may never find the same kind of support, love and understanding again.

Of course that’s not true. With every new relationship the man in my life gets better and better so I should really embrace this end and look forward to the next amazing man that will step into my life.

I felt recently that it’s time to let go. That it’s all coming to an end. I have been blessed really. In my very small number of relationships I have been lucky enough to love and be deeply loved by two men… so third time lucky eh!

Today I picked up Acts of Faith by Iyana Vanzant. Opened it up (on July 16th) and this is what it said….. (in summary)

“When someone is in your life for a reason it is usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly….. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end…..What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and it is now time to move on. Next!”
