I can make you thin week 4

I was listening to a video by Zig Ziglar who said
“for 24 years of my adult life by choice I weighed well over 200 pounds. I say by choice because you see I have never accidentally eaten anything…. I mean it’s always been deliberate. and when I choose to eat too much today I have chosen to weight too much tomorrow.”
I laughed so hard! My fourth week sees me still eating consciously but not as often as I should be… many times I only remember to chew slowly when I finish my meal! But it’s getting easier and I am still at the weight I last reported so nothing else new.
I am feeling better though and I look thinner in the mirror so I won’t always go by what the scales say but will pay attention to my clothes and the way I look too.
Finally broke my weight glass ceiling

Still following Paul McKenna’s “I can make you thin” and I know I said I wasn’t weighing myself for two weeks but I just couldn’t help but take a peek! Especially as I really have been enjoying the “eat what you want, not what you think you should” Read more

Paul Mckenna I can make you thin
Following Paul McKenna I can make you thin (or as I like to say I will become the right weight for my height with the help of Paul McKenna!) for the last week has been very easy.
I mentioned in an earlier post that the most difficult part was just chewing slowly because I wanted to “throw it down” my throat. The constant chewing of food reminds me that I really don’t do that enough.

Paul McKenna says I Can Make You Thin

For the last few weeks I have been recording living TV and the Paul McKenna series despite not being a fan for one small reason. His language. He uses the “I can make you thin” when actually we can become thin with the help of Paul McKenna.
Saying he does it takes away all the power from you. People tell him they are losing weight because of him and he never stops to tell them they play a part in it too. Let’s face it if no one followed what he said who would lose weight???? So it’s not PAUL MCKENNA making you thin but you doing the work based on what he tells you too that helps you to become thin.
So I have decided “I will become the right weight for my height with the help of Paul McKenna”
Because I don’t want to be thin but I would love to finally be the right weight according to my height and my body knows what that weight should be.
What he offers is simply brilliant and the best weight management program I know… why? Because it has four rules that I love
1. Eat only when you are hungry
2. Eat whatever you want (that’s my favorite rule)
3. Eat consciously
4. Stop when you are full
The hardest part for me so far has been number three…. eating consciously because now that I am doing it and have slowed down when eating I realise just how much I threw my food in my mouth and swallowed!!!!
The constant chew, chew, chewing of my food means it gets cold before I am half way through.
But that’s a small price to pay when I think about rule number two! My first lunch after watching his show was Burger King. A double whopper with fries. I loved it but the chewing consciously bit meant it went cold and I could feel the grease…. not so nice! But it has been so long that I loved it anyway.
The other great bit was being told to throw away all food that I found uninspiring. …. loved doing that!
Although 3 weeks have gone by I have only just started watching week one because I recorded it on Sky plus so will keep you up to date on how it’s all going.
It’s amazing what your vision does for your wasit!
