It’s so easy to tolerate the little things

Today (and most of the weekend) I have spent my time “house cleaning” all the little things that I have been tolerating but are annoying.
The first one was my mobile (cell) phone. It rang twice and went straight to voicemail. Whenever I heard it ring I would have to match a rugby tackle style dive for it so that I didn’t have to end up ringing the person back. It cost a fortune in return calls! It took a couple of phone calls and around 20 minutes to sort it out (mainly because I just couldn’t understand the instructions I was given!) but I did it and now I ring for 30 seconds…. ample time to mosey-on-down towards it without any major panic.
The second one was my MyBlogLog account – it’s one of those communities that I joined at least 15 months ago (twice) and never really stopped to figure out. One account had more of a connection than the other. Once it was taken over by Yahoo it became even harder to log in and I could never remember my password. Well today I made the effort to figure it out. Have deleted one account and set up the one I will now use.
My son and his school jumper. My boys go through school clothes like water. They lose them, rip them, misplace them and find them months later. My youngest is down to one school jumper and I have been refusing to buy another because he lost the last one after a few weeks of buying it. Well even I am sick and tired of looking at his old one now and today I bought him two more.
I have started using my domains for something productive rather than leaving them to make money for the hosting account. So far I have managed to put together http://www.netpreneursuccess.com and http://www.ecourseriches.com – my aim is to take all my outstanding domains (I’m too afraid to count) and put up a useful site that will generate an income. The main ones I want to use next are my womeninternetmarketers.net/com/info etc and add information about some of the things women do to make money online. It’s a long process but I am aiming to just put them up one at a time.
These little things have been on my mind to do for ages. They have been robbing me of my energy as I constantly think about them and never get round to sorting them out. Now as I complete each one it feels great to be able to let them go and move on to the next thing.
What small things are you tolerating (or putting up with) that if you just stopped to do them you could forget about?
