About Diane Corriette
I am a life coach who became a software developer at 57. I build my own tools and products, and I write about what it means to live a life based on intentional choices.
For years, I helped clients build their online presence while quietly living through challenge, uncertainty, and a total reinvention of my own. I spent days holding space for everyone else, running businesses, and wondering, “Is this it?” Then I realized I still had time to build something deeply meaningful. So I did.
This space is specifically for women who are going through the motions—the ones who hold everything together for everyone else, but realize they’ve run out of room for themselves. I help you reconnect with what matters, without needing to burn your entire life down and start again.
Using AI
As a software developer, I don't just use technology—I build with it. I intentionally design AI tools to act as an immediate, frictionless extension of personal development.
I use AI to bring concepts to life quickly, saving my energy for the deep creative work. More importantly, it allows me to build custom, on-demand AI companions directly into my digital workbooks, giving you a private space to process your thoughts.
The image on the right is an AI version of me, created as part of that process.
Personal Growth Author
As well as the products available on Inspirational Guidance, I am the author of the following:
- Self Talk Effect — An exploration of how the words you use with yourself shape your confidence, your decisions, and your daily experience — and how to shift that inner voice in a more intentional direction.
- The Zest Sparks Guide — A practical guide to reigniting energy and enthusiasm for life, filled with prompts and ideas to help you reconnect with what lights you up.
Personal Growth Coach
I am a Personal Growth Coach and the creator behind Inspirational Guidance. I bring decades of experience in coaching and mentoring, NLP, and personal development, backed by professional certifications and practical tools.
My work today brings these skills together in a more practical, grounded way — focused on helping women move forward with clarity and intention.
I am the creator of the PAUSE Framework — a five-step emotional resilience method built from my coaching work and personal practice. PAUSE stands for Pause, Accept, Understand, Strengthen, and Evolve. It is used by women navigating stress, setbacks, and difficult transitions who want to respond rather than react.
I am an INFJ introvert. A 29/11 path walker and a 6/2 Role Model/Hermit — Pure Generator — Human Design. What does all that mean? I was born to guide people towards transformation. But I do it with practical tools and real actions, not just theories.
My Qualifications
- International Coach Academy — Professional Certified Coach Program, 6th December 2003
- Strong Research International — Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, 28 October 2001
- Performance Partnership — Certified Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, 27 May 2005
What I Write About
Every guide, article, and tool on Inspirational Guidance connects back to one core idea: that women deserve a life they have deliberately chosen. These are the six topic areas I write about — each grounded in my coaching training, NLP practice, and lived experience.
Self-Authorship
How to define your own beliefs, identity, and direction — rather than living by someone else's script. The central thread of my work.
Emotional Resilience — the PAUSE Framework
My own five-step framework for responding to stress and setbacks with calm and clarity. Created from over two decades of coaching experience.
Build Self-Confidence
Confidence as a practised skill — built through clarity, language, small actions, and evidence. Not motivation. Not affirmations. Real, repeatable steps.
Live With Purpose
Purpose as a daily practice of values-led choices — not a grand calling to locate once. How to align your everyday decisions with what genuinely matters.
Empowered Living
Boundaries, self-reliance, confident decisions, and turning awareness into action. Practical tools for women ready to take ownership of their lives.
Journaling for Personal Growth
A 10-minute daily practice for clarity, resilience, confidence, and self-knowledge. I have used journaling as a personal tool for over two decades.
Living Out Loud Definition
Living out loud means living your life authentically, unapologetically, and openly according to your own values and passions rather than conforming to the expectations of others. It is the practice of being yourself fully and sharing that identity fearlessly with the world.
Action creates clarity. Join us today and start making choices entirely for you.
Start Your ALIVE ListInspirational Guidance Manifesto
This manifesto captures the shift from living on default to choosing your own direction. Each line was chosen to reflect a specific moment in that process - from noticing what isn’t fully chosen, to making small, deliberate decisions, to building a life that feels like yours.
